Online counseling across Texas · Serving Fort Worth, Keller, Grapevine & Southlake
When the same argument keeps coming back, or the two of you have started to feel like roommates, counseling gives you a calmer place to talk and new ways to reconnect. I have helped couples do that for more than 35 years.
Couples at any stage: newly engaged, a few years in, or married for decades. Many people come in when conflict has become constant or distance has crept in. Others come before a big decision, such as marriage, a move or a divorce, to make sure they are hearing each other.
You do not need to agree on what the problem is to start. You only need to be willing to try.
We begin with a conversation about what brought you in and what you hope will change. From there, sessions focus on how the two of you communicate, how stress and old patterns show up between you, and what small changes would help most.
I do not make decisions for you. My role is to help you understand what is happening and to practice something better, so you feel able to handle what comes next on your own.
Marriage and couples counseling is useful when conflict in your relationship keeps escalating into distress or angry confrontations. Together we work on communication, on solving problems as a team and on rebuilding trust and warmth.
I work with married couples, partners, and engaged couples preparing for marriage. If you are facing separation or divorce, counseling can also help you handle that period with clarity and respect, especially when children are involved.
I am based in Fort Worth, and online sessions are also available, so you can meet from home anywhere in Texas. Sessions are 60 minutes. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), licensed since 1990.

No. I work with married couples, partners and engaged couples preparing for marriage.
Many couples wait until the relationship is in serious trouble. Starting earlier usually makes it easier to change patterns, so if you are wondering whether to reach out, it is a good time.
It depends on your goals. Many couples meet weekly at first, then every other week or monthly as things improve.
It works best when both partners take part, but one partner can still begin. Sometimes that first step makes it easier for the other to join later. Call and we can talk about the best way to start.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to reach out. A free 15-minute call is a no-pressure way to see if we are a good fit.
