Christian Counseling in Fort Worth, TX

Counseling that welcomes your faith, whenever you want it in the room

If your faith is part of who you are, it can be part of your counseling too. I bring the same professional care to every client and welcome faith into the conversation when you want it there.

Who this is for

Individuals, couples and families who want their faith included as they work through a hard season: a struggling marriage, grief, anxiety, depression, addiction or a major life change.

You do not need to have it all figured out, and you do not need to share my faith to work with me. It is your choice how much faith plays a part.

What to expect

We begin with a conversation about what brought you in and what matters most to you, including how your faith fits. Sessions then focus on the concerns you came with. Where you want it, we can talk about how your beliefs and values shape what you are facing.

I do not make decisions for you. My role is to help you understand what is happening and move forward in a way that fits your convictions.

How I can help

Christian counseling brings your faith into the counseling process alongside professional training and many years of experience. I have a great deal of experience in this area, and I am a member of First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth.

Faith can be a source of strength and also a source of questions. Whether you are working on your marriage, your family or your own personal struggles, we can include as much or as little as feels right to you.

I am based in Fort Worth, and online sessions are also available, so you can meet from home anywhere in Texas. Sessions are 60 minutes. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), licensed since 1990.
