What is Psychodynamic Therapy?
Psychodynamic therapy draws on psychoanalytic ideas in a more focused, practical way. It looks at how earlier experiences and unspoken feelings influence your current relationships and reactions.
What happens in a counseling session that draws on Psychodynamic Therapy?
We connect what is happening now to patterns from your history, and talk about what you notice, including in how we work together. Sessions can be shorter-term or open-ended.
Who can benefit from Psychodynamic Therapy?
Depression, anxiety, relationship patterns and a sense that something from the past is still at work.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone call before your first session so we can talk about what you are looking for.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Online sessions are also available by secure video, so you can meet with me from home or another private place anywhere in Texas.
How much does a session cost?
Sessions are 60 minutes, and the fee is $200 per session.
Do you take insurance?
No. I do not take insurance. My practice is private pay.
