Experiential therapy focuses on what you feel in the moment, so that insight comes through experience rather than analysis alone.
What a session looks like
We slow down and pay attention to what is happening in your body and emotions as you talk, and sometimes use imagery, role play or other exercises to bring feelings into view.
Who it can help
People who feel stuck in their heads, who find it hard to name their feelings, or who want a more hands-on approach.
About my training
In my work I draw on ideas from Experiential Therapy, along with other methods suited to each person.
When life feels heavy, or you are not sure what to do next, individual counseling gives you room to say what you are feeling and make sense of it. I have worked with individuals for more than 35 years.
